Polartec has announced that they won the Meryl Sport/Activewear Design Award presented at the fifth edition of the WGSN Global Fashion Awards, held last week in London.
The award recognizes the company’s continued innovation in fabric development with respect to trend, colour and fit, as well as innovations in construction, performance, sustainable practices, manufacturing techniques, and collaborative design initiatives.
Allison Spahr, vice president of Global Design at Polartec said: “Being recognized and rewarded by such a widely respected global style institution like WGSN is praise indeed. We work closely with our customers, constantly innovating; researching and developing solutions specific to their needs and it’s great to win an award in recognition of that. WGSN is a leading force in the fashion industry, a portal of future trends and innovations. We feel incredibly honoured to be one of its award-winners”.
