Many suppliers and retailers from the UK outdoor and ski trade will be making the annual trek to Munich in January for the international trade show ISPO and as a warm up to the show, the OIA is arranging an informal social and networking ski day on Friday 26th January in the German ski resort of Garmisch Partenkirchen. Booking is now open for next year’s Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) Conference and AGM. Taking place on 14th and 15th March at the Shrigley Hall Hotel in Cheshire, the event will see over 200 delegates gather together for two days of speakers, workshops, outdoor activities and a series of networking opportunities, including the OIA’s annual gala dinner on Wednesday evening, during which the winners of the UK Outdoor Industry Awards will be announced.
Keynote speakers confirmed so far include Patagonia general manager (EMEA), Ryan Gellert, and Liz McMahon, managing director of the Madison Muir Group and former head of international marketing for the London 2012 Olympic bid. Read More

The campaign aims to encourage as many people as possible to sign up, donate and walk home for Christmas, during the period between Friday 8 December and Sunday 17 December.
