Berghaus has announced the appointment of Chris Tattersall as head of marketing. Chris will be responsible for overseeing all areas of marketing, brand and digital for Berghaus. He started in his new role this week and reports to vice president of product and marketing Julian Nichols.
Chris Tattersall is an experienced builder of international consumer brands, at whisky distiller William Grant & Sons and most recently at Amer Sports where he led the UK marketing team. He leads the Berghaus global marketing team, developing strategy and delivery across all channels.
Chris Tattersall comments: “I’m delighted to join the Berghaus team and be part of this iconic brand. I’m excited by the prospect of working within the Pentland Group and leading a team of talented marketers who will play a key part in fulfilling this brand’s future potential. It’s a privilege to work for Berghaus and take inspiration from the likes of Sir Chris Bonington.”
Julian Nichols adds: “Chris brings a wealth of experience in leading teams and delivering brand marketing programmes. He has a personal passion for the outdoors – on skis, foot and bike. Chris is already making an excellent impression and we look forward to his influence on the team and brand, helping us all to achieve sustained success.”
